The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Perform monthly and quarterly accounting close activities as assigned, including preparation of monthly account reconciliations and roll forwards
- Maintain the master lease schedule and assist with purchase accounting entries
- Assist in monthly ASC 842 (Leases) entry .
- Assist in the development of internal controls and work effectively with team for implementation of related processes
- Assist with continuous review and improvement of accounting practices and procedure
- Interact with and provide information to external auditors during the annual financial audit
- Work on ad hoc projects as necessary
- Initiate and/or complete additional job duties that may be required as a result of the Company’s rapid growth.
- Complete fixed asset roll forwards and reconciliations.
- Ensure proper accounting for all fixed assets including capitalizations, transfers, disposals, depreciation and impairment.
- Complete fixed asset roll forwards and reconciliations.
- Become a subject matter expert (SME) on revenue recognition and ASC 606.
- Assist with maintenance of ASC 606 accounting policies.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
S kills and qualifications that assist in efficiently completing this job include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, Required
- CPA and/or Master’s in Business, Accounting, or Finance preferred
- 3-5 years of experience, public accounting background or comparable work experience
- Knowledge of US GAAP
- Knowledge of ASC 842
- Knowledge of ASC 606 (revenue recognition)
